The Covenant of The Old Path
             Baptist Church
Inasmuch as God has, according to His own purpose and grace, called us to Himself and given us the knowledge of Salvation in Christ Jesus our Lord, and having been baptized by a regular Baptist minister upon the public avowal of our confidence in the Perfect Work of our Savior, we do now in all humility and sobriety enter into this Covenant of The Old Path Baptist Church, supporting the ministry of this Church with our finances, our gifts and abilities, in prayer and attendance to worship both public and private as much as the Lord shall empower us so to do, and with all fidelity endeavor to keep pure those holy ordinances of baptism and the Lord's Supper given us to keep our hearts ever affected by His great sufferings for us until He returns.
We resolve to walk worthy of the vocation wherewith we are called with all lowliness and meekness with all longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.  We will strive to walk as children of Light, and have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness.  Should one of this number be overtaken in a fault, we purpose to seek with all humility and gravity to restore such an one to the fellowship.  Should there arise a need to confront one offensive, we would follow that good pattern established by our Lord in Matthew 18.
We will endeavor to obey that charge given to His first Church by our Savior in Matthew 28 and follow that pattern given in Acts 1 of beginning here and spreading abroad even to the uttermost parts of the earth that good message of Christ crucified and risen, reigning and coming again as much as God be pleased to bless this work.

                   Amen
